It is possible to see the Iguazu falls and the Surrounding area in a lightning trip but it’s better to plan at least two days. The view from the Brazilian side is the most panoramic and there are helicopter rides over the falls from Foz do Iguacu. You also take in May rose a boat to the waterfall. The light is the best in the morning for photos.

The name comes from the Guarani fall for the “big water.” The first Spanish explorers who saw the fall (did you see the movie The Mission?) Is Alvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca in 1541 but a great power that falls are not fully used until the construction of large hydroelectric Itaipu, built jointly by Paraguay and Brazil . Completed in 1991, the dam is open for tours and provide 12.6 million KW of power satisfying almost 40% of Brazil and Argentine power needs. The largest reservoir in the world which is touted by both countries as a masterpiece of technology.
